LJ Hooker is working with the Lockyer Valley Regional Council to raise and distribute relief funds for a brand new house which will be donated to a severely affected family in the Lockyer Valley floods.
Times like these are an opportunity for the LJ Hooker family to make a real difference to communities at a grass roots level. The Hooker Home project will be delivered by leveraging the skills and expertise of the extensive LJ Hooker network. The new home will be a two storey, three bedroom home that incorporates best practice sustainability principles.
The project will give a family who has lost their home and has little insurance a brand new home so they can rebuild their lives.
LJ Hooker and Harveys real estate networks in New Zealand have kicked the fund raising off with $25 K donation.
All donations will be held in our earthquake relief fund and distributed to the most needy causes as they arise over the coming weeks. We will be taking input from the Christchurch Mayors Office, Red Cross and Salvation Army to determine the distribution priorities of our relief fund.
